SP Performance drilled and slotted rotors give the advantages of both drilled holes for cooling and slots to expel gasses and brake dust. SP Performance Rotors use only the finest materials from very select factories and drilled and slotted brake rotors come with your choice of coating for rust prevention. The anti-corrosion coating is available in three colors; Gray ZRC, Silver ZRC, and Black ZRC.

SP Cross Drilled and Slotted Rotors are at the top of the list for performance rotors. By eliminating the sharp edges on our Cross Drilled holes, it greatly reduces the chance of cracking by moving the air and brake dust from the disc brake surface while reducing the surface temperature. By keeping the surface temperature down, this nearly eliminates heat checking and warping. All SP Performance Rotors are manufactured to OEM specifications, machine balanced and coated with your choice or ZRC color.

• Cross Drilled Holes – Holes are machined with our exclusive sinusoid curve chamfer, which promotes cooling and minimizes stress. They maximize air circulation, and with absolutely no sharp edge, our “chamfer” reduces the possibility of heat checking and increases both rotor and pad life.
• Directional Curved Slots – Slots helps increase pad bite, improves air circulation and cooling. The slots also help vent gasses, reduce brake fade and stop brake hydroplaning in wet weather reducing stopping distances.
• Corrosion Resistant Finish – Corrosion resistant finishes give a stunning clean look behind your wheels while preventing rust, corrosion and oxidation. Available in a Gray ZRC, Silver ZRC, or Black ZRC.

After many years of development we have come up with a drilling and chamfering method that absolutely has no sharp edges. Our brake discs are drilled with our exclusive sinusoid curved chamfer. The chamfer promotes cooling, minimizes stress, vents moisture and dust while minimizing heat checking and cracking. The smooth design also increases both rotor and pad life.

How Drilled and Slotted Brake Rotors Work

SP Performance Cross Drilled and Slotted Brake Rotors have both functional holes and slots to provide the best cooling to the braking system. The combined forces of the brake pad rubbing against the brake rotor surface creates gasses and extensive heat which can cause brake fade, which in result, reduces stopping power. The combination of the holes and the slots is a force to be reckoned with. The holes in the brake rotor surface provide optimum cooling, while the slots keep the brake rotor surface clean providing a premium brake pad to brake rotor contact. The holes and slots on the face of the rotor will also help to eliminate hydroplaning by removing the water away from the braking surfaces when you hit a puddle, keeping you and your family safe.

SP Performance Limited Lifetime Warranty

SP Performance rotors are warranted to be free of defects in workmanship, and are guaranteed not to crack for the life of the rotor*.

*The life of the rotor is measured by the minimal thickness. Warranty does not apply to worn out rotors.

Warranty does NOT cover the following:

• Brake noise or squealing.
• Rotors worn to minimum thickness.
• Pulsation caused by other factors such as a faulty caliper, worn out hardware, or excessive brake pad material transfer.
• Damage caused by excessive overheating (bluing) of the rotors.
• Off-road, commercial, or racing applications.
• Improper installation, modification, or product abuse.
• Shipping charges.

Terms and conditions of the warranty:

The warranty must be filed within 30 days of purchase. Save your original receipt. If you have a warranty claim, call us for return authorization. No returns will be accepted without an authorization number on the outside of the box. The original receipt of purchase must be included with the return. This warranty applies to the original purchaser only, and that the product was installed in accordance with the manufacturers recommendations. This warranty does not apply to commercial vehicles or vehicles used in racing.

SP Performance will not pay for any labor or consequential damages or materials which may be necessary for replacement of its products. The warranty is limited to the exchange of the product only, and only after the manufacturers inspection of the defect. No other warranty is hereby given or implied. SP Performance does not accept or assume any liability from damages resulting from errors, changes, or improper installation of its products.

To register this warranty, here is all you have to do:

Fill out the warranty registration online at www.sp-performance.com within 30 days of purchase. Save your original receipt. If you have a warranty claim, call us for a return authorization. No returns will be accepted without having the authorization number on the outside of the box. The original receipt of the purchase must be included with the claim.

If a claim is filed:

The product has to be returned to SP Performance for inspection at the customers expense (shipping is not covered under warranty). The product is inspected for claimed defect, and if the condition of the product is deemed defective, a replacement of the product will be shipped at no charge less shipping. If the condition of the product is determined to be acceptable, no replacement will be given. No packages will be accepted without the authorization number on the box.
