It’s important to note that installation of our Toyota GR86/Subaru BRZ LUXX-Series LED trunk light requires some modification, including cutting and trimming of the trunk support pieces that typically secure the stock trunk piece. These modifications are necessary to facilitate the passage of wires while maintaining the stock appearance. However, rest assured that removing these support pieces will not affect your ability to reinstall your original stock trunk piece if desired.
